Friday, May 3rd IRA 410 Sprints CANCELED due to rain
This is painful, but we are forced to CANCEL the Friday night IRA 410 SPRINT CAR SPECIAL due to heavy rain last night and today.
The track, pits, infield and grounds are simply too wet. We were hoping that we would get some drying out today but with the cooler temps, lack of sun and continued rain it just didn't happen. We recognize that tomorrow will be gorgeous, which is what also makes this so difficult, but many of those drivers are coming from great distances and we are not confident that the track and grounds will dry out enough to host the event tomorrow night, thus we need to cancel tonight.
Pray for the sun and some wind to dry things out tomorrow so we can finally get some racing in on Saturday night for the 16th Annual Season Opener!
